If you think your lynch is a foregone conclusion, I don't really have an issue with it. But only if you genuinely think your lynch is a foregone conclusion.
And are you sure Nanook is the best person for that?
(In any event, with Idle using his extra kill soon and getting outed, looks like I'll be the only remaining scum in pretty short order. I wish the game wasn't such a claimfest; it reduces the number of viable mislynches considerably.)

This is why I hate mass-claiming as a strategy. It's boring as hell, both for the townies, and for the scum.
Why play mafia, a game of guessing and limited information, if all you do to solve the game is claim?
Meh. Meh times 100.
Nanook is just someone random. Picking someone more "good" for us to destroy is too obvious. If it would work in the first place it needs to be convincing.
I don't think Nanook is important enough or known to be townie enough to survive the kind of suspicion I'd toss on him with a post like that. The bit about converting the vigilante might help, but it also confirms TexCat is a non-scum presently. That is a derpa-derpa obvious thing, but it's also something a scum shouldn't be admitting, which lends credibility to the post being a real mistake.
I would leave it for a couple hours, then come back and edit it and say the boards look identical... which they almost do. I'd be looking like I was trying to cover it up but someone might have copypasted it by then.
It's head games which are fun, and why I play. Since we may yet lose anyway, let's go out with a bang... and a laugh.

Gadarene, it's possible we can make this go pear-shaped back on the town. A vote on gnarly or a vote on Idle would go a long way toward confusing them.
Gnarly because we could save me and leave the town with no new info; Idle because we're losing him very shortly anyway and it would make me look like a genius.

Ok with my death, I think Idle should do whatever he can to stay alive a little longer. Just for the sake of the team.
My attempt to bus him failed spectacularly, which might have the effect of him looking townie. We should use that and stuff, Idle.

I know it sucks, mister Idle. But, so far, people seem completely off of Gadarene and nobody is even thinking about you. My goal here will have been to completely fuck with their brains. All I ask is that you keep it entertaining for the spectators, i.e. me. I admit we probably lose the game, but let's make them work hard for it. No easy wins.  OK? We'll let their overconfidence damage their chances. One benefit to having a small team: Random shots are unlikely to hit you. |
