Night Four

[Idle Thoughts]

Okay, well, I think it's time to use my power tonight finally. Nobody will get pissed if I do it NOW, right?
I mean, I was the talk of the game today, whether or not to vote for me.

I think my plan/post bought me the time I needed, though. The last two posts I made in game (the one about how I volunteer to be lynched, vote for me, I'm an "easy target", etc) hoped for that. I was hoping to play the "pity" card, and it seemed to work. By volunteering to be voted for, expressing extreme (fake) frustration, and throwing in that "I'm an easy target" line (which I thought would be the icing on the cake)...I figured people might shy away from voting for me or at least be a little hesitant to. Also, as I had hoped, that "Idle is an easy target" line stayed with them later on, and was brought up many times after I said it (which, again, is what I hoped for). Cookies seemed to get a lot of flack for calling my bluff and voting for me...hahaha....

...so all of that couldn't have worked out better.
Still, I think my luck has run out. I feel if I wait another day I'd be risking getting lynched tomorrow.





So..

Who should I take out toNight? I was thinking maybe Texcat...or--if I don't pick her--maybe the scum could kill her off.
The pro for leaving her in would be she could kill off people for us (by choosing the wrong people), but the con, of course, is that she might hit the right one (Gad) and then that's game over.

I was also considering taking out Suburban Plankton, but that's purely a biased/personal choice since he always seems to vote for me eventually in games that him and I are in. Most of the times he's wrong, though, and I'm town. So this would be sort of me "getting him back" for all those times. Sort of a "Yeah, you're right THIS time...and now you're dead for it! Muahahaha".

Also, do we keep having our recruitment chance or was that a one shot even if it failed?

Go for killing the most obvious towniest townie in the game who we can't generally destroy otherwise.

This thing you're about to do is a killing move, right? Or have I completely goofed what it does.

I agree with pizza -- best candidate is someone who is the clearest townie with a role that can't really be counterclaimed; i.e., someone that we'll never be able to mislynch. I've lost track of people's claims, but Total might not be a bad idea since she's an uncounterclaimed mason.

I'd love to have Lightfoot out of the picture, since she's essentially a detective and can clear people on her own, but she's a potential mislynch so it almost seems silly to waste a kill on her. I don't know, though: can someone remind me who's claimed what so far?

In any event, yeah, tonight is a fine time to use your killing power, Idle. Thanks for waiting; seriously.

I think I'm actually going to kill Lightfoot tonight with the main kill. A detective is too powerful for me to bank on a mislynch.

Idle, I think you SHOULDN'T kill Texcat, because it's looking like she might be a third party, and regardless her shots have much more chance of hitting town than scum at this point, given our lack of numbers.

If you want to kill Suburban, have at it; I can't remember what he claimed (if anything). There are probably other good candidates as well...I'm still reading through.

Actually, Total isn't a good candidate for a kill. Just reading about her claims of being recruited and such; I think we can get a mislynch out of her.

Okay, having finished reading Day Four: less sure that we can get a mislynch out of Total, but she's protected by Cookies regardless.

Definitely think Texcat is not a good kill candidate, since between sinjin and SisC that seems to be the town killing power pretty well covered, and we still want to go for town as much as possible.
