The streets of Gotham are not safe for those with heroic, or even insufficiently un-heroic, backgrounds. Accordingly, you have developed a total of four covers to hide your own identities, based on the villains Jane Doe, Poison Ivy, The Ventriloquist, and The Mad Hatter. Descriptions of these four covers may be found in the dedicated section above. However, there are two extremely important caveats.
1. All of the cover roles provided are "vanilla;" that is, with no known powers or abilities at baseline. If you wish to claim a power role, you will have to choose for yourself what ability or abilities you wish to claim. In some cases, some minor rewriting of the background section to suit a claimed power might be in order.
2. You are aware that somewhere among the forces arrayed against you is the petty criminal known as "The Killer Moth." Your sources indicate that the Moth witnessed your arrest of either The Mad Hatter or The Ventriloquist, and therefore one of those two cover roles is compromised. The roles of Jane Doe and Poison Ivy are perfectly safe, but the Killer Moth, wherever he is, knows that one of the two remaining options is a Scum cover. Choose wisely.
