in general, scumbags, our behavior needs to be near-random. Having logic to our moves is fine, but it cannot be logic townies can predict.

Whatever we do needs to be downright baffling to them, so they always second-guess.

Ah, I couldn't help it. Enough people have stepped forward with legit-sounding suspicion on TexCat.
I take the risk, I try to save you mister special Ed.
I love ya, you big lug. And especially your anatomically correct black rubber suit.... meow.

I'm waking up. Off to the thread next.
1. I agree with watching Chronos Tonight.
2. If we want to make our behaviour random, make it random. Several here will remember Blaster Master and his Pseudo-Random Hypothesis (PRH). He suggested that, in an effort to appear random, Mafiates tend to spread themselves evenly over available options. We want to avoid doing that unconsciously.
Back soon.

Second read in progress.
What would people think about sounding Peeker for recruitment?

I strongly disagree that we should use our night actions randomly.
We should use our night actions in a way that maximizes our ability to pool our information.

For recruitment I would propose Dirx, Pollux, or Rysto tbh.

I don't like a peeker recruitment because peeker is an easy mislynch. We should be trying to recruit someone who has a good townie image and would be difficult for us to mislynch later.

My reread has just got to post 346.
Pollux's argument in that post makes me think he would be amenable to recruitment if he were vulnerable to it.
Storyteller, The Penguin will attempt to recruit Pollux Oil.
I'll confirm by PM.
I should be able to stay online all evening, so I can change if conditions alter.

Tonight I'd like to consider killing
(1) TexCat (2) guiri (3) Chronos
Thoughts on each? I think I'd like to watch TexCat regardless.
