People who get frustrated with lurkers often form a "kill the guy with 3 posts" wagon regardless of nuance, and I want to make sure we don't lose anyone from such a gimme. Especially two someones.

I don't think we should make any moves to spare Pleo/save special ed.

1) We could fail in that effort, Batman can be exposed, and therefore, we will lose Ed and also look scummy in the process.

2) It's possible town bones themselves anyway, and they look bad for it.

3) If Ed dies and we made absolutely no effort to save him, then we could avoid lynch for a long, long time.

I will make some efforts to save myself however. Maybe it will work. If nothing else, it should cast suspicion on those who wanted to save me when I do flip

By all means, save yourself Ed. I don't want to go on without you. I just don't want to risk more than one of us in saving you, because that can lead to a loss of both of you.

What is the risk in using the recruitment? Exposure?

I'm trying to compose a game post right now, but we need to strike lucky with a combination of a recruitable role and a player willing to come along.

But I do understand where Chronos is coming from. You see something you think can catch Scum, and you feel good about that so you do it.

Only when you develop the skills for looking at the comments and interactions do you realize that that is what the game is about.

PS, and I am kinda pissed that that is why Pleo wants to kill me.

I do wonder what he's thinking. I've never really been able to understand him. he makes decisions and then just decides that he's right. No amount of evidence would convince him that I didn't edit.

Of course, if it were me, I'd threaten someone I thought was Townie to get the Town to back off voting for me, so maybe that's what he's thinking. Though, if he were, he should be threatening Chronos right now.

Almost posted this, but decided against it. I'm much too impulsive to be Scum.

The more I think about it, the more puzzled I am by Pleo's desire to kill me. (and I'm probably thinking about it since I don't want to die on day 1.)

1. He thinks I'm Scum. That's fine. he's allowed. Pleo often gets ideas into his head and then they stick there even of they don't make sense to anyone else.
2. He needs to convince the Town (and those acting like Town) to unvote him.
3. But his very action should be seen as benefiting the very side he's trying to convince. So, by his own case, they should want to be rid of both him and me.

Now, I realize there are a few people who don't feel I'm Scum, but if I had to guess, I would think more people are trusting Chronos' claim.

Pleo is the one who had a policy of voting for people who voted out of self-preservation too, isn't it? On the principle that it was Scummy to do that. And he casts multiple votes because he thinks everyone should do that.


Anyway, this is just idle rambling. regardless of the fact that Pleo plays the game quite stubbornly, I do think our best bet is to let him live for a little bit.
